01 The short version
Canopy Management is where brands tend to go once Amazon is already a serious revenue line and the goal is aggressive, controlled scale. It's a full-service agency, PPC alongside listings, creative and account health, founded in Austin in 2018 by Brian Burt, himself a former Amazon seller, together with Brian Johnson, a well-known name in Amazon advertising circles.
The credentials check out: an Amazon Ads Advanced Partner and Walmart Connect partner, Inc. 500-ranked for growth, and by their own account more than $3B in managed revenue across 1,000-plus brands. They run in-house DSP and have expanded into TikTok Shop. The gap, as with most at this tier, is published pricing, and their best-fit spend floor is higher than most, so they suit established brands more than newcomers.

05 Who it's for
Strong fit
- Established brands ready to scale hard on Amazon
- Sellers who want PPC plus the full account picture under one roof
- Brands wanting Amazon, Walmart and TikTok managed together
- Anyone who values a seller-built team
Look elsewhere if
- You are a brand-new or very small seller
- You want a lean, advertising-only engagement
- You need published pricing before a call
06 Our take
Canopy is a legitimately strong full-service option, and the seller-founder origin shows in how they talk about the whole account rather than just the ad console. The Advanced Partner status and the growth rankings are real, verifiable signals, not just self-description.
What I'd want to test is fit at your size. Canopy's value shows up when there's real volume to work with, and their spend floor reflects that. A smaller brand can end up paying for seniority it can't yet use. The managed-revenue and brand-count figures are theirs, not audited, so I've marked them stated.
The move into Walmart and TikTok is sensible, but it's newer than the Amazon core, so if those channels are your main reason for hiring them, that's the first thing to probe on a call. Pricing isn't published, which is the main reason they're desk-verified rather than fully reference-checked.
