01 The short version
PPC Jumpstart is the boutique, owner-led option on this list. Based in Vancouver, BC, it's run by founder Vadim Soin, a former six-figure Amazon seller who built and scaled his own brand before taking on clients. The pitch is simple and, for the right buyer, compelling: the person who audits your account is the person who runs it, with no junior handoff.
Engagements are Amazon-only, month-to-month with no long lock-in, and measured on profit (TACoS) rather than ad spend. They report $10M+ in managed ad sales across four countries and describe themselves as a verified Amazon Ads Partner. The honest caveats are scale and independent verification: it's a small operation, and a lot of the proof lives on their own site.
02 The basics
Firm-level facts, confirmed from public record.
03 Desk checks: 8 of 10
Everything we could confirm from public record — Amazon's partner directory, their site, case studies, and third-party reviews.
04 What we verified
Each claim carries an evidence label: verified from public record, stated by the agency, or pending an interview.
05 Who it's for
Strong fit
- Founders and mid-market brands who want senior, hands-on attention
- Anyone burned by junior handoffs at a bigger agency
- Brands who want month-to-month, not long lock-in
- Sellers who value a profit-first (TACoS) focus
Look elsewhere if
- You need a large team or deep DSP bench
- You want an independently verified partner tier
- You want a long, established review track record
06 Our take
PPC Jumpstart is the anti-agency agency, and for the right buyer that's exactly the appeal. If you've been through the churn of big shops handing your account to a junior, an owner-led boutique where the founder actually runs the work is a genuinely different experience. The seller background and the month-to-month terms are real, verifiable positives.
The honest caveats are all about scale and proof. It's a small operation, so capacity is naturally limited, and much of the evidence lives on their own site, including a 'best agencies' list that ranks themselves first. That's not disqualifying, plenty of good boutiques market this way, but it means more of the proof is self-reported than with the larger firms above.
I couldn't confirm the Amazon Ads Partner tier from Amazon's own directory, so I've marked that stated rather than verified, and the third-party review trail is still thin. This is the clearest case on the list where the interview matters most: the fundamentals look good, but more of them need confirming directly than with a firm that has years of public record.
